DCMNT is an ongoing research initiative looking to understand the infrastructures that support architectural practice across social contexts.

The goal of this investigation is to pinpoint the factors that justify the change in valuation of the architect’s role from culture to culture. Deepening the value proposition of architectural professionals around the world is the ultimate desired outcome.

This project currently takes the form of a website. The platform keeps track of both scholarship and regulatory references that affect practice through a global lens, and additionally, documents my conversations with practitioners in each place. As of the April of 2021, the documentation spans 26 countries.
